I have my table in the kitchen with the 4 chairs around it shoved to one wall, 2 dog beds on one side of it and a buttload of junk on top of it because I eat in the living room in front of the TV lol

I'd sit at the table but it is just me and don't see the point. I sometimes will eat at the counter looking out the window over the sink.

We giggled at the "undigested bit of beef" line, too!! We watched the George C Scott version. He was an amazing actor. I saw him live in NYC one evening. I was about 3 feet from him, once of those "inclusive theatres" where actors mingle with the audience.

We watched A Christmas Carol on the 23rd, I think it was. Except we watched the Alistair Sims version. Great story. "You might be an undigested bit of beef..." LOL I actually cooked Christmas dinner for the first time ever this year. In the past, we always went to someone's house. The last two years we spent at home, but we just did appetizers and stuff. This year for some reason I felt like making a nice dinner instead, so I made a roast beef, mashed potatoes, gravy and carrots with chocolate cake for dessert. Very basic, but it was very satisfying. Oh, and I didn't overcook the roast! That was my "Christmas Miracle", ha ha!! Glad you and yours had a really good day. :-)
