I don't usually give scraps to my dogs at all because the pointer cannot tolerate it and will hawk it back up by the end of the night. They do, however, love their nanners and all fruits and some veggies and can tolerate them so i will give them some of that as well as rice. But mainly its the dry dog food because I also don't give them the wet food either.

You know what... Sardi's actually rings a bell, like some very distant echo in the recesses of my cobwebby brain. WOW I think I went there as a young student back in the 80s!!! OMG the memories! LOL

A few places we like when we just want to grab a quick and inexpensive meal are: TGI Fridays - there is one only about a block from Grand Central, Evengreen Diner which is at 145 E 47th St, and we also like to go downstairs in Grand Central - there is a big food court type area with all kinds of wonderful choices and places to sit and eat it. Also, if it's a nice day, Bryant Park has outdoor food vendors and the park itself is really, really lovely to sit and eat lunch in. If you ever have the time or desire to eat someplace a little pricier, Benihana at 47 West 56th Street is a really good (and fun) place to eat, also Sardi's at 234 West 44th Street is a very cool "New York" and culturally historical place to eat (that's the one that has the hand drawn caricatures hung wall to wall), and St. Andrews is a Scottish theme restaurant at 140 W 46th Street that we really enjoyed (if you get a sandwich there for lunch that would pretty much fall into your $15 budget actually). Hope that helps...

Hahahaha I love how you called them miniature, rubbery yoga mats!

I am not sure if I would ever try sushi. When I eat food, I have to be ok with what it looks like, the smell etc. If it looks weird then I am unable to tolerate it. If it smells funny, the same thing.. I literally gag. The seaweed part just gives me the heebee jeebees. I don't like much fish either.

However, Moe told me that there is some sushi made without
the seaweed and fish. Its made with cucumbers and some other
things. I will have to try that. I think they are called
Spring Rolls or something?

I wish I was like you to be able to try new things without getting nauseated. :(

Almost every week I think about making
a meal plan and I don't do it. LOL

Big time procrastinator. However, I do
want to start doing meal planning even if
its every other week. Any pointers that
make it easy and easy to be motivated?
